About Lauren Olmstead, MSN, APN-BC

Lauren Olmstead, MSN, APN-BC, is an Advanced Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Monmouth University with her Master’s Degree in Nursing.  She attended The University of Scranton where attained a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Lauren started her nursing career at NYP-Columbia, as a staff RN on a Cardio-thoracic Step-Down Unit and then worked in the Cardio-thoracic ICU.  She continued her career at RWJBHS in New Brunswick, NJ as a staff nurse in the Emergency Room and on the Cardio-thoracic Step-Down unit.  After 7 years of Cardiovascular and emergency room nursing she received her Master’s Degree and obtained her Nurse Practitioner License. She joined the CVINJ team in September of 2020.  Lauren always wants her patient’s to feel their best and approaches patient care in a holistic manner.  In her free time, she loves to be outdoors and enjoys time with her dog, fiancé, friends and family.
